Florida highway receives beautification grant for medians

The Florida Department of Transportation awarded $600,000 in grants to beautify Highway 98 in Santa Rosa Beach. Walton County plans to spruce up the medians along a two-mile stretch of the highway. The landscape architect on the project plans to plant several varieties of foliage, as well as crepe myrtle.
