French railway workers kick off protests against Sarkozy

A round of nationwide strikes and rallies criticizing French President Nicolas Sarkozy's management of the economic crisis began when railroad employees walked off their jobs. As many as 2.5 million people demonstrated last month against Sarkozy's handling of the economy, and labor leaders said they are hoping for a bigger turnout this time.
