Arizona hospital to use Epic's EHR technology

Yuma Regional Medical Center will adopt Epic Systems' inpatient and ambulatory electronic health record applications and employ 49 new IT workers as part of a $73 million project. Under the five-year initiative, the hospital will provide the ambulatory EHR to interested community doctors but has yet to decide whether it will subsidize implementation costs.
