FSA reviews possible mis-selling of interest-rate products

The U.K. Financial Services Authority is looking into the possibility that some banks mis-sold interest-rate products. Barclays apologized for the way it sold such products and plans to write customers involved, the FSA said. "We have looked at the issue before," the regulator said. "We asked the firms involved to review their systems and correct any problems."
