Obama pushes House to pass bipartisan transportation legislation

House Republicans should "follow the Senate's lead" and pass bipartisan transportation legislation, "so [President Barack Obama] can sign [it] into law," the White House said. The House has to either pass a transportation bill of its own or take up the Senate's $109 billion measure before the March 31 expiration of the current SAFETEA-LU.
