Small businesses get a taste for QR codes

Small-business owners are experimenting with QR codes, with one Ohio company putting a banner-sized code on its storefront in a bid to attract attention. Experts say QR codes can work well for small companies, but only if they provide users with relevant content. "If you give them something of value, that's when they'll share it with their friends and that's when it goes viral," says Dean Hanisko, a business-development executive at Great Lakes Integrated.
