China OKs more wind projects to hit 100GW targets by 2015

The number of approved wind projects in China has increased as the country aims to install 100 gigawatts of electricity by 2015 and ease the strain on its power grid. The country's National Energy Administration gave approval to 28.7 GW of wind projects this year, an increase from 27.5 GW approved last year, the agency said.
