Embraer signs lease for Fla. assembly plant

Embraer announced it has signed a lease on a Jacksonville, Fla., hangar where it plans to assemble its A-29 Super Tucano aircraft. The company, with U.S. partner Sierra Nevada Corp., recently won a $427.5 million Air Force contract for 20 airplanes. The deal will mean about 1,400 new jobs in Florida.
