In-house pop-up shop creates buzz at New York City restaurant

Tucked away on the third floor of New York City’s Maloney & Porcelli steakhouse sits Skylight Shoppe, the restaurant's pop-up luncheon where busy professionals can enjoy upscale comfort food such as chicken and waffles or a gourmet wedge salad. The restaurant's owners, Alan and Michael Stillman, created the in-house pop-up shop to bring more attention to the steakhouse's name, and so far, customers are loving the additional dining choices offered at a lower price point than the typical power lunch.
