Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz came under fire recently for encouraging his workers to get involved in the political debate over the U.S. deficit crisis, but on CSR issues, we need more, not less, CEO activism, argues Matt Polsky. "We certainly need more of this, particularly from companies that don't have a direct economic stake supporting policy actions on global warming," Polsky writes.
