Study: Persistent rich-media ads rank high in viewability

Commercial breaks and floating ads with reminders topped the list of rich-media ad formats ranked by viewability, according to a DG MediaMind study. Wallpaper ads and HTML5 expandable banners followed, while "polite" banners and enhanced standard banners ranked lowest. By category, travel, corporate and consumer packaged goods enjoyed the most viewability from their rich-media ads worldwide.
