Video is one of the top mobile ad segments and its growth, plus the willingness of people to watch long-form content, is attracting major brands to native ad units. Longer content requires better storytelling and longer stories, making these ads a strong fit for consumer packaged goods, such as a four-minute Pillsbury recipe video for making pizza with its biscuits. "Publishers want to run more video in mobile environments," Brightroll Mobile Director Matt Young said.
