General Mills invests in yogurt products

General Mills introduced 16 new yogurt products in January, double the amount it debuted last year, as well as a Greek yogurt taste-off marketing campaign that included a pop-up store in New York and in-store sampling. Since January, the company has increased its dollar share in the Greek yogurt category and Yoplait's original varieties have grown. General Mills plans to "keep our foot on the gas to fuel momentum in this business," said Chairman and CEO Ken Powell.
