Nasal spray could replace injected anesthetic for some dental procedures

St. Renatus LLC recently completed Phase III clinical trials on a nasally administered anesthetic that could be used instead of injected anesthetics in dental procedures involving the upper teeth. The company is preparing to request FDA approval of the product and recently secured $5 million in financing.
