N.H. Medicaid expansion leaves out adult dental care

The New Hampshire Senate passed a bill that would expand the state's Medicaid program to about 50,000 more residents, but the bill does not include an expansion of dental benefits for adults. The state Health and Human Services Department has proposed requesting a federal waiver to take Medicaid money saved through better health care and use it for adult dental care. Department officials will be holding public meetings on the subject.
