Nurse-led behavior management helps reduce BP, study says

A nurse-led behavioral management intervention was one of three telephone-based programs that helped people with insufficient blood pressure control reduce mean blood pressure readings, researchers reported in Circulation: Cardiovascular Quality and Outcomes. The other programs included physician-guided medication management and a combination of the nurse-led therapy and medication management.
