A private workforce supplier has completely staffed the Texas agency charged with certifying it as a minority-run business, according to this article. In their role as staff members of the North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency, employees of the workforce supplier reportedly are able to see other companies' financial information and certify businesses as government subcontractors, which has led some area contractors to question the practice or to give up on the certification process, this story says.
