Weather Co. ad exchange: It looks like rain (and beer)

Cold weather streaks can mean consumers buy more beer in Chicago, while the opposite is true in New York, according to the Weather Co., which has set up the WeatherFX ad exchange to tie such temperature changes to shifting purchase habits. Exchange information has been picked up by the Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Co. for digital ads that make weather-related suggestions.
