Northwest pilots leadership neutral on contract

Leaders of Northwest Airlines' pilots union took a neutral position on a tentative agreement reached with the company. Pilots will vote on the deal in April. Northwest, which filed for bankruptcy protection, said it must lower costs to keep operating. Separately, Northwest has indicated it might ask the Metropolitan Airports Commission for financial help.
