Omnicom buys major stake in retail monitoring service in China

Omnicom Group recently acquired a majority stake in Unisono Fieldmarketing, a service that allows marketers to monitor consumer product sales at supermarkets in China. Unisono's auditors work on behalf of U.S. and Chinese clients, visiting stores, inspecting in-store advertising and monitoring retail displays and sales.
