Hooters to open franchise in Israel

Hooters, known for the skimpy outfits worn by its waitresses, will open its first restaurant in Israel in the summer, in Tel Aviv. Ofer Ahiraz, who purchased the Hooters franchise for Israel, said the chain can suit the Israeli entertainment culture but notes it would not open restaurants close to large religious populations and would not be kosher.
