Nintendo's Wii proves a hot commodity

Figures released by research firm NPD Group found that Nintendo's Wii gaming console was the best-selling video game system in the U.S. for the month of February. Nintendo officials have been caught slightly off guard by the unit's success, with Nintendo-America president Reggie Fils-Aime saying, "There are hundreds of thousands of consumers still waiting to get their hands on the system."
