Beckstrom, an author and founder of business software firm, reportedly is the White House's pick to helm a new inter-agency group tasked with preventing coordinated cyber attacks against the federal government's computer networks. Neither the White House nor the Department of Homeland Security would comment on the alleged appointment, which reportedly may be made today.
