Many companies are under pressure to cut back on recruiting teams, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing, writes Lou Adler, who shares 15 ways to increase productivity among recruiters. Among his tips: Make sure recruiters really understand the jobs they are filling, avoid cold calling and jump on great candidates quickly. "If you're not attracting the best of the bunch as soon as they start looking, you're wasting time and resources going through electronic stacks of resumes of unqualified people," Adler says.
