Grandfathers instill love of flying in pilot/entrepreneur

Six years after earning his pilot's license at age 19, David Hixon founded Dedicated Helicopters, a company that provides aerial sightseeing tours to guests visiting the Palm Springs Air Museum in Palm Springs, Calif. The grandson of two helicopter pilots, Hixon says he comes by his love of flying naturally, and it's something he tries to pass on with his business. "Everybody is just absolutely ecstatic," he says of the experience. "Kids love it. They get off and say 'I wanna do it again.'"
