Major Australian retailers not allowed to open on Easter

The Office of Industrial Relations will not allow David Jones, Harvey Norman, Coles, Woolworths and other major Australian retailers to trade in New South Wales on Easter Sunday. The retailers had applied, arguing that not everyone celebrates the day, but were denied permission.
