Japanese crisis will bring airlines another setback, IATA says

The International Air Transport Association said Japan's earthquake, tsunami and nuclear crisis will result in another financial setback for the global airline industry. "A major slowdown is expected in the short term, and the fortunes of the industry will not likely improve until the effect of a reconstruction rebound is felt in the second half of the year," said Giovanni Bisignani, director general and CEO of IATA.
