Aspirin may aid in cancer prevention, studies find

In addition to heart benefits, daily aspirin intake also may help prevent certain cancers from developing in the short term, as well as long term, according to studies published in The Lancet and The Lancet Oncology journals. Oxford University researchers also found that daily aspirin intake may help reduce the risk of metastasis in cancer patients by about 40% to 50%.
