Casino-style games won't be coming to Minn. horse tracks

A state Senate committee yesterday reined in a proposal that would have allowed casino-style games at Minnesota's struggling horse tracks. Proponents had estimated that by installing 2,000 slot machine-like games at a pair of Twin Cities tracks the state could made up to $130 million in tax revenue.
