Review: Common chemicals may exacerbate obesity crisis

The advocacy group Chem Trust cautioned that exposure to chemicals commonly found in mobile phones, toys and plastics may exacerbate obesity. An analysis titled Review of the Science Linking Chemical Exposures to the Human Risk of Obesity and Diabetes finds that the chemicals enter the food chain and build up in the body over time and can disrupt fat storage and slow metabolic rates.
