Experts: Use of electronic life insurance applications is rising

Using electronic applications, signatures and policies when selling life insurance can reduce mistakes, speed up the process and improve the client's experience, says John Nichols of the Disability Resource Group. Other agents also say that electronic processing of life insurance policies is becoming increasingly beneficial. "We have seen the use of e-processing grow over the past five to six years and have really seen it pick up in the past 18 to 24 months," said Ryan Pinney of Pinney Insurance Center, which uses e-applications almost exclusively.
