IRS asked to delay employer health care mandate

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce requested Monday that the IRS provide a one-year period before acting on penalties attached to the Affordable Care Act provision requiring employers to offer health insurance. Employers need time to understand the way the law calculates full-time equivalent employees and the way the new system functions, the Chamber said.
