Keep hungry black bears at bay by tucking pet food away

Spring weather is bringing Washington state's black bears out of hibernation, and after losing about half their body mass, they are in search of food. Pet owners should make sure pet food is not left outdoors, where it could attract bears, and residents are advised to remove bird feeders as well.
