Nvidia takes a remote approach with graphics software

Nvidia's Grid Visual Computing Appliance promises to let users share access to graphics-heavy and complex video software with Windows, Linux and Mac-based clients. "Design firms, film studios and other businesses can now give their creative teams access to graphics-intensive applications," Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang says. The company also announced upcoming graphics chips called "Volta" and provided updates on its mobile-chip products.
