Report: More youths are hospitalized for bipolar disorder

A report from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality showed a 434% increase in the hospitalization rate for bipolar disorder among children ages 1 to 17 between 1997 and 2010. Children aged 5 to 9 had the highest increase in admissions for the condition.
