Seven years later, Santa Barbara's El Encanto reopens

El Encanto in Santa Barbara, Calif., has reopened after a lengthy renovation. Orient-Express Hotels put $134 million into the hotel, which took seven years to restore. In addition to a new spa, the hotel features private bungalow patios, fresh hardwood floors, plantation-style shutters, a repositioned pool, a gym and a ballroom.
