Dow Chemical targets up to $2B in asset sales this year

Dow Chemical plans to shed up to $2 billion in assets this year, raising its asset sales goal to between $4.5 billion and $6 billion by the end of 2015, CEO Andrew Liveris said Wednesday. The assets planned for sale will likely be segments of Dow's performance materials and functional materials businesses, the company said.
