Penguin-shaped device may relieve discomfort in children with diabetes

Inventors in Ohio have developed the Pengueeni device meant to reduce anxiety and pain associated with skin pricks in children with diabetes. The device, which vibrates and can be used with standard lancing equipment and blood test strips, was a winner at the Innov8 for Health Challenge and Idea Expo.
