Woman builds thriving oil-related retail business

Amy Savage and her boyfriend operated a small trucking company that focused on moving oilfield equipment, but a frustrating experience with trying to find fireproof clothing for workers eventually led her to a different business idea. Now Savage sells hardhats and other safety equipment from two retail stores, with another on the way. She says she expects sales of $3.5 million this year.
