California interchange renovation four years ahead of schedule

By working with state and local officials before rising prices could affect construction, the city of Rocklin, Calif., began work on the I-80 interchange at Sierra College Boulevard on Tuesday, four years ahead of schedule. The modernized interchange will be widened to five lanes, have more vertical clearance and include bike lanes.
