Fight over CBOT heats up between CME and ICE

The struggle between the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and IntercontinentalExchange for the Chicago Board of Trade has transformed into a public spat after a decision by CBOT to postpone a key vote on its merger with CME. "In our view, the ICE proposal is significantly inferior to the CME/CBOT merger financially, strategically and operationally," said CME Chief Executive Officer Craig Donohue.
