The future of in-car connectivity, from Hughes CEO

New technologies, such as voice recognition and vehicle interaction, lead the list of innovations that Hughes Telematics CEO Jeff Leddy is looking to bring to future cars, he said during this week's Auto Show in New York. Hughes, a leading maker of in-car entertainment and information systems, wants to add real-time traffic updates, recommended routes and scenic descriptions to navigation systems as well as add voice recognition for a car's infotainment lineup.
