Maupintour: Commission delay caused by internal fraud

Maupintour recently sent a letter to travel agents to explain the delay in their commissions. The letter says that in December Maupintour's owner, Extraordinary Vacations Group, "became aware of significant accounting anomalies that resulted in the discovery that the Las Vegas controller had been stealing funds from the company and misrepresenting books and records." The company does plan to send out the commissions and asked agents to fill out a form stating the commission amount owed to them.
