Sears makes friends with Facebook for prom promo

Sears is hoping to reach teens shopping for prom dresses via social network Facebook in a new promotion that allows visitors to Sears.com to share images of dresses they are considering with their Facebook friends. Sears marketing manager Tania Dermin said, "The main reason we chose Facebook is its popularity and the closed door environment where the girl can connect with her friends."
