Bill calls for study of healthy-food access in Miss.

A bill in the Mississippi Legislature calls for studying the availability of healthy food in a state where experts say "food deserts" are found in more than two-thirds of the counties. Access to healthy, inexpensive food is key to reducing obesity in the state, which is considered the fattest in the nation, said Sandra Shelson, executive director at Partnership for a Healthy Mississippi.
