Records expose another latent PG&E pipeline defect

A new faulty seam weld was discovered by PG&E inspectors several hundred feet from where the deadly San Bruno pipeline blast occurred last September, based on documentation submitted by PG&E to National Transportation Safety Board investigators. NTSB inspectors have not yet inspected the faulty weld, and PG&E has not disclosed any updates regarding the quality of the weld.
