Sprint offers Google Voice with no porting fee

Sprint Nextel will let subscribers use the Google Voice service on their handsets without paying a porting fee to retain their phone number, the carrier announced at the International CTIA WIRELESS® 2011 on Tuesday. At a news conference, Sprint introduced its Nexus S 4G Android smartphone from Samsung, which will come with the Google Voice application installed. Google Voice allows users to have one phone number as a point of contact and manage all of their devices online.
