Wash. won't limit glucose monitoring in children with diabetes

The Health Technology Assessment committee in Washington state has decided not to impose daily limits on finger prick tests in children with diabetes, heeding the advice of groups including the American Diabetes Association and Endocrine Society. The committee also voted to cover continuous glucose monitors for children at high risk of having complications from low blood sugar.
