Calls to investigate collapsed concrete at London's Crossrail tunnel

On March 9, concrete collapsed at the Crossrail tunnel's entrance in London. The Rail, Maritime and Transport union is calling for a full investigation by the Health and Safety Executive. The tunnel is part of a $25.4 billion rail-link project that is slated for completion by 2018. The first of eight giant boring machines is expected to begin work today.
