DOD pinpoints San Antonio as future of military health care

The Department of Defense has highlighted efforts to improve provision of care in San Antonio as a benchmark example of how to improve military health care while cutting costs. DOD also suggested in its March 2 report to Congress the creation of a Defense Health Agency to replace the current TRICARE system.
